World Jamboree & Expedition Europe Sponsorship

To make this experience possible for our youth we need a LOT of help! We are reaching out to business, community groups, and our community to sponsor our youth on this life changing adventure. Scouting has a firm commitment that no youth is left behind for financial reasons, so we are dedicated to doing whatever it takes to get these kids on this adventure of a lifetime!

Scouts Canada is a registered charity, and all donations made by cheque of $50 or more will receive an official tax receipt on request.

We Work Hard for Our Donations!

Scouts are not looking for a hand-out, we are looking for the opportunity to work for our donations. As much as we appreciate donations, we also really appreciate the opportunity to provide a service in exchange for the donation. Our adult and youth members are insured by Scouts Canada for service projects, and the onus would NOT be on your business/organization in the unlikely event of injury. We can clean parking lots, shovel snow, rake leaves, clean windows, chop wood, complete light-moderate manual labour, data-processing, painting, customer service, trail maintenance, trash clean-up, web design, photography, graphic design and really anything else you can think of. You will not only be providing a donation to help the youth experience a trip that will literally change the way they look at their place in the world but you will also be providing these same youth with real work experience and life skills.

Sponsor a Portion of this Adventure of a Lifetime!

We are offering the unique opportunity for sponsors to finance a specific portion of our journey.  If you cannot make a financial contribution, but instead would like to donate a product or service for our HUGE online auction, click here for more information!

For donations of $50 or more, you will receive:

  • Listing on our website Sponsor Hall of Fame & a personal thank you through our social media
  • A signed thank you card from all the youth attending the trips
  • A charitable tax receipt (providing you pay by cheque)

For donations of $100 or more, you will also receive:

  • Sponsor a specific stop on our journey and your business will be featured as the sponsor of that portion of our trip

For donations of $250 or more, you will also receive:

  • Sponsor a major portion of our journey and receive a shout-out on our pre-trip video (being shown publicly, posted online and also sold as a DVD to members’ family and friends).
  • Receive a framed “Thank You” picture and certificate that you can proudly display at youth business

For donations of $1,000 or more, you will also receive:

  • 30 second commercial that will be included on our videos online and offline

Jamboree Sponsorship – $2,000

Sign up to be the full Jamboree sponsor for either the 2019 World Scout Jamboree or the 2019 Haarlem Jamborette in the Netherlands. Our Jamboree sponsor will be thanked publicly on videos and through social media throughout these two week long international Jamborees! In addition you’ll receive all the other benefits for our platinum sponsors including a 30 second commercial, a thank-you shout out in our video project, a framed photo and certificate of thanks, and you’ll be featured on our website and social media!

“I Would Walk 1,000 Miles”… I mean Kilometers

Another great sponsorship opportunity is to help out one of our members who have dedicated themselves to walk at least 1,000km before the trip to show how badly they want to attend this amazing adventure! Sponsor any amount, every donation is greatly appreciated! You can donate online or contact us to donate through e-transfer or in-person. Just make sure you let us know which member you would like to sponsor.

To show that we’re serious about our 1,000km, members will only receive the donations if they actually reach their 1,000km goal. If they don’t reach their goal, their pledges will instead be donated to the trip general fund.
